What this estimate includes
The package rate starts at Viking’s published US price of $27 per guest per night, with its package service charge included. If your quote is different, change the rate above. The calculator charges for every guest selected and every cruise night.
Complimentary house wine and beer at onboard lunch and dinner are deducted from your totals. Upgraded wines at meals still belong in the paid count. Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and any drinks already included with your cabin shouldn’t be counted as extra savings.
Premium doesn’t always mean included
For ocean and expedition cruises, this estimate treats menu prices up to $18 before service charge as included. Higher-priced drinks receive a 30% discount on the whole drink in this model; you do not simply pay the difference above $18. The entered service-charge percentage is applied to the remaining paid amount. Actual onboard billing may differ; confirm your chosen drink’s eligibility.
For eligible river cruises, the entered drinks are treated as included except treasure wines, which receive a 30% discount. Use the checkbox if your premium row is treasure wine. Mississippi has different premium-beverage terms and isn’t included in this tool.
A useful estimate, not a bill
This covers the drinks you enter. It does not assign a dollar value to wine pairings, tasting events, bottles of wine, convenience, or other package benefits. If you’ll spend most afternoons ashore, average that into your daily quantities. If the package is already part of your booking, don’t pay for it again.
